This tire features a 2-inch whitewall, which is built into the tire from day one for a long-lasting tire that offers the perfect look for your classic car. The wide whitewall fits many American classic cars and hot rods, and the 60 series sidewall offers easy fitment on many custom applications. Coker Classic Star Series tires feature a 480AA UTQG rating, giving them excellent treadwear, traction and temperature control. Another best-in-class rating is the T speed rating (118mph), as well as XL load rating, thanks to a reinforced sidewall. The Coker Classic Star Series is engineered with a reinforced sidewall to better support the weight of classic cars. This reinforcement gives the tire Extra Load (XL) rating, meaning added safety and a long-lasting sidewall that won't break down over time. This product features a genuine wide whitewall sidewall style. This means that the bright white rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. Wide whitewall tires were a very popular choice from the 1930's through the end of the 1950's, and were eventually phased out of mainstream production by 1962. Originally, wide whitewall tires featured a bias ply construction, but now Coker Tire offers them in original style bias ply and modern radial construction.
