Performance Upgrade Hi Flo Thermostat Stress Free Brass Construction Short Stroke Piston Temperature Sensitive Copper Powder And Wax Power Pill For Faster Piston Response Recommended For FlowKooler High Flow Water Pumps Hi-flow water pumps on stock Chevy engines require high flow thermostats to accommodate the increased coolant flow rate. Recommended for FlowKooler water pumps, the more malleable brass construction of the 330 series thermostat allows precision coolant flow. The short stoke piston is driven by the power pill, a metallic powder and wax filled sensor able to detect minute temperature changes for lightning fast piston response. The 180?F setting keeps the engine at its optimum heat range for maximum power output and performance.
