These fender emblems are OEM-style replacements designed for 1962–1963 Chevrolet fullsize passenger cars and 1964 Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova models originally equipped with a 283 cubic inch V8 engine. Manufactured as exact-fit reproductions, these emblems feature the correct “283 V” engine designation, matching original factory styling, proportions, and mounting configuration. Designed for proper installation on both front fenders, this pair is ideal for classic restoration projects where original engine displacement emblems are missing, damaged, or incorrect, helping restore factory-correct appearance and detail on period-correct vehicles.

Auto Metal Direct is a team of true car guys with years of experience in sheet metal reproduction, car restoration and paint/body work. We believe that quality is not subjective! Our mission is to provide the best customer experience for the Ford, Mopar and GM classic car markets - both in products and in service.
Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
