- Engineered to OE contours for proper sealing and fitment.
- Shatter-resistant tempered construction improves occupant protection.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 1–2 hours (plus adhesive cure time: 24 hours)
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and disconnect battery if removing powered trim; protect interior with drop cloths.
- Remove interior trim, moldings, and any exterior garnishes that secure the rear glass to expose the pinch weld and adhesive.
- Carefully cut and remove the old urethane and glass using a utility knife or windshield removal tool; use suction cups to lift out glass if still intact.
- Thoroughly clean and dry the pinch weld area; remove old adhesive, rust, and debris. Vacuum any loose particles.
- Apply urethane primer to bare metal per primer manufacturer instructions and allow to flash as directed.
- Load urethane adhesive into the caulking gun and apply a continuous, even bead to the pinch weld following vehicle-specific bead profile.
- With suction cups, position the new rear glass into place. Align carefully to body reference points, then seat glass into the urethane bead to ensure full contact and an even gap.
- Temporarily secure glass with masking tape or alignment stops as needed; reinstall exterior and interior moldings once adhesive tack holds the glass in place.
- Allow urethane to cure undisturbed for the recommended cure time (typically 24 hours) before driving. After cure, check for proper seating and perform a water leak test.
- Reinstall any removed trim and accessories; clean the glass and inspect seals for gaps or imperfections.
