Its outline follows the 1970-71 lens contour—including the locator notch—so it self-centers as you tighten the screws. Pre-punched holes line up with the factory studs; simply clean the mounting surface, slip the gasket over the studs, reinstall the lens, and your Nova’s taillamp stays dry, bright, and rattle-free. Sold individually to service either driver or passenger side, this Trim Parts seal restores concours weather-tightness in a five-minute job and is backed by a limited lifetime material warranty.

Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
