Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and protect surrounding paint with masking tape.
- If replacing old moulding, carefully pry out existing trim and remove all clips and adhesive residue from the channel.
- Clean the moulding channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or contact cleaner and allow to dry.
- Dry-fit the new moulding around the windshield to familiarize yourself with clip locations and orientation.
- Apply a light bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel if the original installation used adhesive (follow adhesive manufacturer instructions).
- Starting at the top center, position the moulding and work outward and then down each side, engaging clips or pressing the moulding into the channel. Use a soft cloth and rubber mallet to gently seat the trim without marring the finish.
- Ensure ends and corners are flush and clips are fully engaged. Reinstall any end caps or retainers as required.
- Wipe away any excess adhesive, allow adhesive to cure per instructions, and inspect the seal and fit before driving.
