Restore the factory-correct entry trim of your classic GM X-body with this LH (driver side) Door Sill Plate, a high-quality reproduction manufactured by OER and offered by Auto Metal Direct (AMD). Designed for 1968–1979 Chevrolet Nova (Chevy II) and related GM X-body 2-door models, this sill plate accurately replicates the original fit, finish, and detailing used from the factory.
Each sill plate features the properly embossed “Body by Fisher” emblem, riveted in the correct OE location, just like the original GM part. Produced using new OER tooling, this molding offers a brighter, cleaner appearance than typical aftermarket alternatives. Once installed on the inner lower door frame, it helps retain the carpet edge while protecting the threshold from wear and damage.
The sill plate includes the correct mounting screws for installation and is sold individually. One LH and one RH sill plate are required per vehicle. (See related items for the RH/passenger side sill plate, AMD part #K-7728956.)
