Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 15-30 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Socket set or wrench (commonly 7/16" or 11mm depending on vehicle)
  • Masking tape
  • Clean cloth and glass cleaner
  • Threadlocker (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake and protect surfaces with a cloth.
  2. Place a strip of masking tape on the windshield beneath the mirror bracket to protect the glass.
  3. If required, remove any interior trim or headliner access panels to reach mounting screws.
  4. Loosen the set screw(s) on the existing mirror using the appropriate screwdriver or hex key, then slide the old mirror off the mounting button.
  5. Clean the mounting button and surrounding area; inspect for damage and replace the bracket if necessary.
  6. Slide the new mirror onto the mounting button and position it to the desired angle.
  7. Tighten the set screw(s) snugly — avoid overtightening to prevent thread or glass damage. Apply threadlocker if desired for long-term secure fitment.
  8. Adjust the mirror to proper driver view and road-test to confirm stability and alignment.
