Correct reproduction of the original fuel tank designed for with 1971-1972 Chevrolet Nova, Pontiac Ventura models with EEC (evaporative emissions control vapor recovery system). This reproduction fuel tank is manufactured in stainless steel and includes the fuel sender lock-ring and o-ring gasket for a complete installation. This is a 18 gallon fuel tank that replaces the old tank perfectly. Note: Fuel tank sending unit available separately.
The EEC system is a method of controlling HC emissions by collecting fuel vapors from the fuel tank and carburetor fuel bowl vents and directing them into an engine intake manifold.
