Reproduction of the original fuel tank designed for use with 1971-72 Chevrolet Nova, Pontiac Ventura models with Evaporative Emission Control (EEC). Each fuel tank is manufactured in quality stamped steel and features a zinc coating for rust and corrosion prevention. Measures 38" x 19-3/8" x 7-3/8". Features an 18 gallon capacity and includes the filler neck, fuel sender lock-ring, and o-ring gasket for a complete installation.
The EEC system is a method of controlling HC emissions by collecting fuel vapours from the fuel tank and carburetor fuel bowl vents, and directing them into an engine intake manifold.
