Reproduction of the 12-point, grade 8 bolt that secures the steering coupler to the steering shaft on most GM vehicles. The original couplers came with a 12-point bolt in the location where tightening this bolt squeezes the coupler onto the steering sh aft. The reason a 12-point bolt must be used is because it is very tight tolerance, and very difficult to get wrench to tighten up with full turns when the coupler is installed on car. Having the 12-point bolts makes it much easier to install, and makes t he part look much more authentic and original.
