Instructions:
- Verify kit fitment for your vehicle and gather tools on a level surface.
- Park vehicle, engage parking brake, and raise the front end on jack stands or ramps if required for access to bumper fasteners.
- Apply penetrating lubricant to existing fasteners if replacing worn or rusted guards; allow to soak.
- Support the bumper if necessary, then remove the original bumper guard bolts and retain any reusable hardware as needed.
- Clean and inspect bumper mounting points; remove rust, debris or old sealant to ensure a flush fit.
- Position the new bumper guard and hand-thread the supplied mounting bolts to align both guards evenly.
- Tighten fasteners evenly in a cross-pattern to draw the guard flush to the bumper. Torque to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended specification; if unknown, tighten to approximately 20–30 ft-lbs.
- Lower the vehicle (if raised), recheck fastener tightness, and visually inspect alignment. Take a short test drive and re-check fasteners after initial use.
