A compact 14-piece emergency bulb kit containing common incandescent replacements (1156, 1157, 1155, 168) to get vehicles back on the road quickly. Ideal for restoring turn signals, brake lights, reverse and parking lamps on classic and modern cars, trucks, SUVs and motorcycles that use these bulb types. The kit provides dependable filament bulbs that offer reliable illumination, simple plug-and-play installation, and durable construction for roadside repairs or restoration projects. Keep a set in the glovebox or toolbox for fast, economical replacement when a lamp fails.
Features:
  • Fits most cars, trucks, SUVs and motorcycles using 1156, 1157, 1155 or 168 bulb sockets.
  • Contains 14 common emergency bulbs to replace turn, brake, reverse, tail and marker lights.
  • Durable incandescent filament construction for consistent, reliable light output.
  • Simple plug-and-play replacements—no special wiring or adapters required.
  • Compact kit ideal for roadside repairs, routine maintenance and restoration projects.
  • Cost-effective way to restore proper lighting and maintain vehicle safety and legality.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 1/5
  • Estimated time: 10-30 minutes (depending on access to lamp housing)
Suggested Tools:
  • Clean cloth or lint-free gloves
  • Flathead or Phillips screwdriver (if lens removal is required)
  • Plastic trim/panel tool (optional)
  • Multimeter or test light (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Park the vehicle on level ground, turn ignition off, and remove the key. For added safety, disconnect the negative battery terminal if you will be working near electrical connectors.
  2. Access the lamp assembly: open trunk, remove interior access panel, or remove lens/cover using the appropriate screwdriver or trim tool as required for your vehicle.
  3. Identify the failed bulb and carefully remove the bulb holder or socket from the housing. On push-in bulbs (1156/1155), pull straight out; on bayonet-style bulbs (1157), depress, twist and pull out as needed.
  4. Compare the old bulb to the replacements in the kit to select the matching type (1156, 1157, 1155 or 168). Note: 1157 is a dual-filament (two-contact) bulb—ensure correct seating so both contacts meet the socket.
  5. Handle the new bulb by the base or wear gloves. Avoid contaminating the glass with oils or dirt. Insert the replacement into the socket and secure by pushing or twisting until fully seated.
  6. Reinstall the bulb holder/socket into the lamp housing and reattach the lens or access panel. Reconnect the battery if disconnected.
  7. Test the circuit (turn signal, brake, reverse, etc.) to confirm correct operation. If the bulb does not light, double-check seating and try the bulb in another known-good socket or use a test light/multimeter to verify socket power.
  8. For appearance and performance, consider replacing bulbs in matched pairs (left/right) and dispose of old bulbs responsibly.
