Complete right-front floor assembly designed for 1968–1974 Chevy II / Nova vehicles. This direct-fit replacement includes the right front floor pan, integrated seat belt bracket, and the 1/2 center hump section to restore structural support, secure seat belts, and protect the cabin from road debris and moisture. Stamped and formed to OEM contours, it provides durable corrosion resistance and a reliable foundation for carpets, seats, and interior trim—ideal for rust repair and full restoration projects.
Features:
  • Fits 1968-1974 Chevy II / Nova, right front floor area including 1/2 center hump and seat belt bracket.
  • Stamped steel construction engineered to match factory contours for a direct, accurate fit.
  • Includes integrated seat belt bracket to restore occupant safety anchorage without separate fabrication.
  • Half center hump section restores proper tunnel geometry and alignment for interior components.
  • Pre-formed panel reduces fabrication time and simplifies welding or bonding during restoration.
  • Durable finish helps resist corrosion prior to final seam sealing, priming, and painting.
  • Ideal replacement for rusted or damaged floor sections during classic car restorations.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 4-8 hours (typical, depending on rust severity and welding experience)
Suggested Tools:
  • Angle grinder with cutting and grinding wheels
  • Spot weld cutter or drill and drill bits
  • MIG or TIG welder (or heavy-duty plug-welder)
  • Welding clamps and magnets
  • Hammer and dolly set
  • Wire brush or grinder wheel
  • Measuring tape and marker
  • Seam sealer and applicator
  • Rust inhibitor/etch primer and topcoat
  • Protective gear (welding helmet, gloves, eye protection)
  • Floor jack and stands or lift
Instructions:
  1. Prepare vehicle: disconnect battery, remove seat(s), carpet, trim, and any components obstructing the right front floor area.
  2. Assess and mark the damaged metal. Use the spot weld cutter or drill to remove factory spot welds where applicable.
  3. Cut out the rusted or damaged floor section following the marked lines. Leave clean, solid metal for welding where possible.
  4. Test-fit the replacement floor assembly in the opening. Trim as needed for a flush, accurate fit against existing structure and the 1/2 center hump.
  5. Clamp the panel securely and tack-weld at multiple points to maintain alignment. Check fitment with seat belt bracket and surrounding panels.
  6. Complete welds in short runs to prevent warping; allow cooling between passes. Grind welds smooth where desired and restore any necessary attachment points.
  7. Treat all exposed seams and weld areas with rust inhibitor, then apply seam sealer to joints to prevent moisture intrusion.
  8. Prime and paint the repaired area with appropriate primers and topcoat to match restoration requirements.
  9. Reinstall carpet, seats, and interior trim. Torque seat mounts and verify seat belt bracket anchorage per safety recommendations.
  10. Reconnect battery and perform final inspection for proper fitment, secure fastening, and any gaps or finish issues to address.
