Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and open the door/roof area to access the roof rail channel.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: pry out retaining edge and pull the seal from the channel using a trim tool or screwdriver; use pliers if needed.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting channel of old adhesive, dirt and debris using solvent and a clean rag; allow to dry completely.
- Test-fit the new left-hand weatherstrip along the roof rail to ensure correct orientation and length; trim excess if necessary.
- Apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or to the seal lip where recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Starting at one end, press the weatherstrip into the channel, seating the retaining edge firmly into place along the entire length.
- Wipe away any excess adhesive and re-check fitment; make minor adjustments before adhesive sets.
- Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions before exposing to water or closing the roof/door repeatedly.
