Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, lower the window and disconnect the battery if desired for safety.
- Remove the door panel and inner trim pieces to access the vent/wing window assembly and division bar.
- Carefully remove the vent/wing glass assembly or pivot hardware as needed to access the old glass run channel.
- Pry out or slide the old glass run channel from the division bar pocket; cut away any stubborn sections and clean the channel pocket of dirt and adhesive.
- Test-fit the new channel into the division bar to confirm orientation and length; trim excess if necessary for a clean fit.
- Apply a light coating of rubber lubricant or soapy water to the channel lips to aid installation.
- Press the new channel fully into the division bar pocket, working from one end to the other and ensuring the channel seats evenly.
- Reinstall the vent/wing glass into the new channel, checking for smooth operation and correct alignment with the sash.
- Reassemble the vent/wing hardware, door trim, and panel. Verify the window seals properly and check for wind noise or leaks.
- Adjust as needed for final fitment and torque any fasteners to factory specifications.
