Instructions:
- Lower and/or remove the door glass and interior door panel to access the vent/division assembly.
- Remove the vent window/assembly retaining screws or rivets and carefully detach the vent frame from the division bar.
- Unbolt or remove the division bar/post if required to access the old glass run channel.
- Pull the old glass run channel out of the division bar — cut or pry gently as needed to avoid damage to the post.
- Clean the channel cavity and mating surfaces with solvent to remove old adhesive, dirt, and rust.
- Lubricate the new glass run channel with silicone spray or soapy water to ease installation.
- Press or slide the new channel into the division bar groove, ensuring the profile seats fully and is aligned for left or right orientation.
- Reinstall the division bar and vent assembly, aligning the vent glass in the new channel and securing fasteners per factory locations.
- Reinstall the door glass, adjust glass alignment and stops as needed, then replace the interior panel.
- Test window operation, check for smooth travel, and verify the seal against wind noise and water ingress; make final adjustments if necessary.
