Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Open and securely prop the hood to access the bumper mounting location.
- Remove the old bumper: use pliers or the appropriate socket/wrench to unthread or pull out the existing bumper. Apply penetrating oil if it is seized.
- Clean the mounting hole and surrounding area with a rag to remove debris and corrosion.
- Thread the new bumper into the mounting hole by hand until snug, then tighten with the appropriate wrench or socket. Do not overtighten — secure until firmly seated.
- Close the hood slowly to check alignment and gap. If needed, adjust bumper height by turning it in or out until the desired gap and contact are achieved.
- Recheck all fasteners and test for quiet operation; repeat adjustment on the opposite side if installing multiple bumpers.
