Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and protect painted surfaces with tape or a cover.
- Carefully pry away the windshield molding using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching the glass or paint.
- Remove any old or damaged clips by lifting or prying them out with a screwdriver or pliers.
- Clean the clip channel and surrounding area with a cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt and adhesive residue.
- Position the new clip so its orientation matches the original; slide or press the clip into the channel until it seats or clicks into place.
- Install all required clips along the molding at the factory clip locations, spacing them evenly as needed.
- Re-seat the molding over the newly installed clips, pressing firmly along the length until the molding snaps into place.
- Inspect the fit, adjust any misaligned clips, and test for secure retention and proper sealing against wind or water infiltration.
