Instructions:
- Inspect the mounting hole and remove any debris or damaged clip pieces.
- If replacing a push-pin style clip, pry up and remove the center pin with a flathead screwdriver or trim tool, then pull out the old clip body.
- Align the new clip's shank with the panel mounting hole; ensure the flange sits flush against the panel surface.
- Push the clip body into the hole until it seats; if it has a separate center pin, press the pin in until it locks.
- Check that the trim or panel is held firmly and that there is no excessive play or misalignment.
- If removal is required later, pry up the center pin first (if present) and pull the clip out with pliers or a trim tool to avoid damage.
