Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and protect interior surfaces with cloths or masking.
- Remove interior rear trim, garnish molding, and any exterior molding that secures the old glass.
- Carefully remove the old glass. Cut and scrape away old adhesive or remove the rubber gasket, taking care not to damage the pinch-weld.
- Clean the pinch-weld thoroughly with a razor blade and solvent; allow to dry. Apply pinchweld primer where required and let it flash per product instructions.
- Test-fit the new tempered glass to confirm alignment with the opening and moldings before applying adhesive.
- Apply a continuous bead of urethane adhesive to the pinchweld per adhesive manufacturer recommendations (or seat the glass into the replacement rubber gasket if the vehicle uses a gasket-style installation).
- Using suction cups, position the new rear glass into the opening and press evenly to seat it into the adhesive or gasket. Reinstall exterior and interior moldings and trim.
- Secure any fasteners and clean excess adhesive promptly. Tape the glass in place if recommended by the adhesive instructions.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for the time specified by the urethane manufacturer (commonly 24 hours) before driving. After cure, inspect seals for leaks and proper fit.
